Mary Kate Brandon lives happily in East Memphis with her husband Bill and their son Liam. Originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for the past 7 years, Mary Kate calls Memphis home. She supports the Memphis community as an involved and active member of the Junior League of Memphis. Currently, she serves the League as the Chair of the Shelby County Books from Birth Volunteer Committee. Mary Kate is a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, the Brooks Museum of Art, the Dixon Museum, and the Memphis Zoo. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, gardening and serving the community.
Mary Kate matriculated at the University of the South in 1991. While there she was an active member of the Sewanee Community having worked for the Sewanee Post Office (SPO), the Sewanee Outing Club, as well as serving on the selection committee for a director for the Sewanee Outing Program. Following her transfer to the University of Alabama, Mary Kate helped promote activities on campus and was on the Dean’s List. She attended the University of Alabama School of Law where she was elected Secretary of the Student Bar Association when she was a third year law student. While in law school she was a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society.
Mary Kate is licensed to practice law in Alabama and Tennessee.
